What is the MDC Pay App?
It is our new mobile app that lets you pay bills, manage your account, set up notifications, and more all from your mobile device.

How do I download MDC Pay?
Search for MDC Pay in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Download and install the app to get started. MDC Pay is available on both iPhone and Android devices.

How do I sign in for the first time?
If you have an existing MyHQ profile, log in with the same username and password. You do not need to register again.

If you are a new customer, tap Help and Options, then select First Time Signing In. Enter your account number and ZIP code to begin creating your profile. You will receive an email to verify your contact information before signing in.

What if I forget my password?
From the login screen, tap Help and Options, then select Forgot Password. Enter your username and follow the steps to reset your password.

Can I use biometrics to log in?
Yes, you can. Tap the person icon in the top right corner to open My Profile. From here, click the Biometric Sign In switch and confirm the setting. The app will return you to the sign in screen.

MAMANGING YOUR ACCOUNT
Can I link another account in the app?
Yes, tap the My Profile icon, then select Link New Account. Enter the account number and ZIP code associated with the additional account. There is no limit to how many accounts you can add.

How do I switch between accounts?
On the My Profile screen, tap the Switch Account button to toggle between any accounts you have linked.

Can I update my contact information?
Yes. From My Profile, select Alter Preferences, then Manage Contacts to add or edit linked emails and phone numbers.

NOTIFICATIONS & PREFERENCES
How do I manage my notifications alerts?

From My Profile, tap Alter Preferences, then Manage Alerts to turn specific alerts on or off. You choose whether to receive them by email, text, or both.

Can I get a PDF of my bill by email or text?
Yes, open My Profile, choose Alter Preferences, then Manage Alerts. Find New Bill Available and tap the Edit icon. You can choose to include a PDF with your notifications, then click Save.

BILLING & PAYMENTS
How do I make a payment in the app?
From the home screen, tap Make a Payment. Choose the amount and your payment method, then confirm the payment.

Where can I view my bill or payment history?
Tap the Billing icon at the bottom of your screen to view current or past bills. You can also scroll down to see your Payment History and tap to view details.

How do I add or delete a bank account?
Go to My Profile, then My Payment Methods. To add, tap Add Payment Method and enter your details. To delete, swipe left on the account you want to remove and tap Delete.

AUTOPAY
How do I set up Autopay?
If you already have AutoPay set up through MyHQ, it will automatically carry over once you download and sign into MDC Pay. No action is needed.

If you are setting up AutoPay for the first time, tap the AutoPay switch on the home screen. Choose a payment method, set your payment limit (up to $25,000), and select a payment date. Confirm to activate AutoPay.

What happens if my bill is higher than my AutoPay limit?
If your full bill amount exceeds the AutoPay maximum you set, your payment will be cancelled, and you will need to make a manual payment instead. Be sure your limit covers your typical monthly bill to avoid missed payments.

Can I choose how long AutoPay stays active?
Yes, you can. During setup, you will be prompted to select how long you would like AutoPay to remain in effect.

Having trouble signing in?
Make sure your username and password are correct. If needed, use Help and Options to reset your password or recover your login. If problems continue, contact Customer Service at (860) 278-7850, option 4.
