Environment, Health & Safety

The MDC’s Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) Department is responsible for the management and administration of environment, health and safety programs and activities on a District-wide basis.  The EH&S Department is responsible for OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) compliance, environmental permits and Consent Order compliance, FOG (Fats, Oils & Grease) program, safety training, environmental reporting and the Household Hazardous Waste Program.
